Home-from-Home Childcare in Eccleshall
Baby Room
Our Baby Room is thoughtfully designed to create a warm and nurturing space for infants aged 6 to 12 months. Recognising that every baby has unique needs, our dedicated staff offers personalised care to ensure each child feels safe, secure, and loved. In this cosy setting, our experienced team creates engaging activities for your little ones, providing soft and safe areas for play, exploration, and rest, all while prioritising comfort and well-being. We focus on gently introducing social and sensory experiences tailored to support each baby's stages, allowing your child to embark on their journey of growth and discovery in a caring and attentive environment. We are committed to fostering a secure and nurturing atmosphere that respects each child's developmental needs from tummy time, sitting up, rolling over and supporting their weaning journey as well as keeping their natural sleep patterns. When you join us, we will discuss your child’s routines and closely replicate their home environment within our nursery.
Tweenie Room
Our Tweenie room provides a nurturing environment where children can explore and develop their emerging skills. We offer a variety of exciting and age-appropriate activities that effectively support their newfound abilities. Our dedicated staff creates a happy and caring atmosphere, laying a strong foundation for your child's development. Children will engage in sensory activities through messy play with materials like sand, water, rice, pasta, play dough, and bubbles. As they begin their journey in the Tweenie room, they will be introduced to colors, shapes, and numbers through fun and stimulating activities. Throughout the day, children can choose from a selection of age-appropriate activities and resources, including role play, various construction toys, books, and imaginative play.
Preschool
In our teacher led Preschool room, we nurture children aged 3 to 4 years, on preparing them for school throughout their Preschool year. The room features various areas of continuous provision as well as more focused activities, each designed to support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) learning areas, enabling children to enhance their skills and abilities as well as consolidating what they have learnt through play. Each day, our children will participate in small group sessions planned by our primary school teacher to build on their next steps as well as provide foundations for learning to become school ready making that transition from our setting to school seamless for your child. This approach fosters a relaxed, home-like atmosphere for your child's learning journey. Each day we will be focusing on the prime areas of the EYFS as well introducing the specific areas creating a love of learning through fun, child led activities.
Before and After School Club
We always have different activities to keep the children interested such as; art and craft activities, homework support with a qualified primary teacher, baking activities, board games/cards and dominoes. However, children can choose just to relax or chat with their friends and take part in the activities if they choose to. We will listen to the children and regularly ask what activities they would like – we recognise the importance of respecting children’s wishes and ideas.
